Meet the team charged with rebooting whole hog after a years sabbatical
This year Tamsin been involved in an exciting short film project which will hopefully be accepted into film festivals. She's been given a place in London’s, National Youth Film Academy, experimented with extra work and has also been taking acting classes at a local theatre. All of these achievements have led her to pursue opportunities outside of screen acting and is excited for Whole Hog to reintroduce her to theatre since she last left it whilst performing at school.
David is an actor from Swindon who has played many roles from musical theatre to dramas across the UK and abroad. Having recently taken a step back from big city life he has been looking for something meaty to get his teeth into and feels this Pinter double bill is just what the doctor ordered.
Jodie has a degree in Drama and has had training from the actors studio at Pinewood Studios. She has worked in theatre, film and television and has also written a number of short films. Jodie has always loved acting and is incredibly excited to perform as Hilary in “The Woman who cooked her husband.”
'The Lover'
Katie has had a passion for acting and theatre from a young age, and was a member of the Sixth Sense Swindon youth group. After studying drama at college and university, she has been involved in several productions with the Shoebox Theatre in Swindon over the past few years.
Dominic has been involved with amateur dramatics for the last 21 years and has played a large cast of characters from Falstaff to Ronnie Barker; The Cherry Orchard's Pishchik to 2 in Richard James's The Dreaming.
Being one of the founding members of Theatre @ The Trout, Dominic relishes the offstage requirements of a show as well as the effort required under the lights. His very first role was as a concert pianist who was shot 9 minutes into the play. He hopes he doesn't go out with such a bang again!
Darren trained in Performing Arts for 5 years at Wiltshire College, gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Theatre credits include Ralph Clarke in Our Country's Good, Inspector in Trumpets and Raspberries, Gary Lejuene in Noises Off, Orsino in Twelfth Night, Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing and Rochester in Jayne Eyre.
Darren has performed in several short films including Clone by Joe Cox and Soldier Boy by Daz Barber.
He has written several One-Act plays. One of which, Wetwork, was published in 2014 and has been performed nationally and internationally, garnering several awards.
Darren is now Artistic Director of Whole Hog and has recently relaunched the company with his Executive Director, Matthew Clift.
Dominic has worked with whole hog for eight years. In that time he has designed and lit a diversity of productions as well as composing sound scores. He has also acted with the company in their productions of 'The Call of Cthulu' and 'Asylum'. Dominic works as a technician at the Cornerstone Arts Centre. Oxfordshire.
Matthew is a Co-founder of whole hog. He has directed a diversity of productions for the company as well winning awards for writing. Matthew's current role as executive director sees him working on producing, funding, and making the coffee! Matthew resides in Lincolnshire where he works with Peterborough's Mask Theatre.
