Next was a quick line run for Becky on ‘4: 48 Psychosis’. As we hadn’t run it for a week she wanted to be secure on the lines. It’s a real challenge to be onstage for that amount of time (35 minutes) by yourself so she wanted to be as clear on her lines as possible. We also did some more puppet work with ‘Doctor Larry’ which is now looking really polished. We even had time to come up with a slightly different ending of ‘4:48’ which seems to work a lot better than what we first devised. Just goes to show that the work can be evolving and developing-even with only one official rehearsal left until performance week!
Friday sees Whole Hog perform ‘Henry Gladstone’ for the final time at the ODN festival in Abingdon. Having already been involved with our friends at Dead Meat Productions (who staged their production of 'Prevenge' on Tuesday night- to great acclaim!) we are itching to perform and are even looking forward to be stood onstage in front of the audience during our adjudication! Watch out for a blog on this where all will be revealed!
