The performance will be a little different from our week at the Alma Tavern Theatre and its intimacy with 48 seats. Tonight we have potentially 180 in the audience and a bigger space to fill. It will certainly be good practice as our final performance will see us performing in a 900 seat Victorian theatre!
We will also be the final performance as part of Madam Renards Mini Fringe Festival. All this week there has been a diversity of performances across various venues in Swindon. The tireless work of Matt Fox and Jessie Thompson, who organise the festival, means Swindon has the opportunity to see just how much love of the arts is in abundance in the town and battles against the continued backward thinking of Council’s who don’t believe the arts are a going concern and cut funding.
It’s only events like the Mini Fringe that keeps the arts living and breathing and proves just how vital it is to a community
